Rishi was born on February 27, 1993, in Pyuthan district. Interested in music since childhood, Rishi formally began his musical journey at the age of 17. In 2010, he recorded his debut song 'Janchhu Pardesh' in his own voice, writing the lyrics and composing the music. Following the success of Rishi's first song, his engagements began to grow. Since then, Rishi has composed over 200 tracks, written lyrics for 100 songs, and sung more than 70 songs, including 'Date Okhara', 'Man Pareko Bhena', 'Pathar ko Mutu', 'A Jindagi' and 'Maina Raja Maina Rani', across various genres such as Modern, Folk Duet and Folkpop.
