She embarked on her musical career as a songwriter in 2017. Puja's first creation as a lyricist was 'Bhulnai Garo Hunchha', which received positive feedback from listeners. This encouragement fueled her journey in the music industry as a songwriter. She has written lyrics for more than 15 songs across various genres, including modern, folk duets, and pop. Some of Puja's popular songs include 'O Jheli Maya', 'Timrai Naam Ko Katro' and 'Basant Ma Dalile Paat Firchha', among others.
