Genius Music Award’s second and third edition concluded

Genius Music Award’s second and third edition concludes. The award ceremony held at Rastriya Nach Ghar on Saturday was attended by personalities from various fields of film, music, art and literature.

Senior lyricist Dr. Bhola Rijal has been honored with the 'Lifetime Achievement Award' along with a cash prize of 25,000 in the event. The Chief Guest, Minister of Culture, Tourism, and Aviation, Jeevan Ram Shrestha, honored Dr. Rijal with this award. Genius Music Pvt. Ltd., which has been active in the music field for more than a decade, has started the 'Genius Music Award' on the occasion of its anniversary since 2075. However, the second Genius Music Award scheduled to be held in early 2077 was postponed due to the nationwide lockdown due to Covid-19.

That is why the second edition including the songs released in the year 2076 and the third edition including the songs released in the year 2077 and 2078 have been nominated for the award, said Ramesh Pathak, the chairperson of the organization.
