Dr. Baburam Bhattarai: movie with messages and artistic is Definition of  Nepali movie

To be known as a movie-loving leader, Dr. Baburam Bhattarai. Many times  Former Prime Minister Dr. Bhattarai has gone to the hall and watched movies. Bhattarai, in particular, used to meet in the hall to watch movies on social stories. Sometimes he even gets to see a movie made by a person he knows.

Bhattarai, who likes films good messages, does not like violi action films. Bhattarai, who said that he has come to the hall to watch the movie since his student days, has taken it as an important aspect of social change. In a movie, the message is conveyed artistically, and he sees it as an important aspect of society's transformation.

He also said that a person should have beauty consciousness and also need entertainment. Probably because of this, Bhattarai had seen a lot of films in the student life in the 1970s. Bollywood was tempted him when the movie was not well developed in Nepal.

While in Chandigarh, India for study, he watched a lot of films in the 1970s. It was a dominance of romantic movie in Bollywood at that time. In the era of Amitabh Bachchan, Rajesh Khanna, Hema Malini and Savannah Azamis when they were rising at there best, Bhattarai also frequently watched films.

Not only during the student era but during the civil war period also Dr Bhattarai and yami went to see movie silently many time . And I would urge others to watch the movie I liked. Bhattarai says that since begining he has already watched a good movie in any language

So, the Nepali movie has not taken a definite look. If anyone asks what is a Nepali movie then there is a situation to be called like Bollywood. In that case, we were curious to know about Bhattarai's view about film.  Bhattarai is still in favor of identity federalism. They have fought for their identity.  So the identity of the Nepali movie was to seek from him, us too. We asked him - what if someone asked you what the identity of a movie in your country?  Bhattarai could not easily answer or question or not answered at all. He answered, but the focus was on the situation and possibility of movie the in Nepal.  He said - 'Cinema, sports are all subject to the level of development of the country. The country is evolving, industries are evolving, people are getting rich, investment of resources is being invested with pretext, people's standard of living has risen, cultural level has risen and then film will have the same level. That is why the film can only be very good, the country cannot be far behind. It is connected by an integral part. In this context, Nepali film is developing in relation to the stage of development of Nepal. Our country is very full of opportunities. In terms of method, ethnicity, regional diversity. We are in the middle of both cultures like India and China. Because of the combination of both India and China, the intellectual and Hindu traditions of Eastern cultures, both in terms of subject matter and in terms of personalities in Nepal, if our economic development continues tomorrow, then Nepal can become a world famous spot for the development of cinema. '

This answer of Bhattarai was not the answer to our question. We have sought the identity, definition or introduction of Nepali movie in order to understand Bhattarai. So we asked.  We made him focus on identity rather than on possibility. Perhaps for Bhattarai, like the filmmakers, must have been very difficult to say this is the introduction of Nepali movie. So he answered despite some obstacles.  He said: 'There are films that express social contradictions, some are political in nature. I see movies of different types being made in Nepal. And, the message is basically making political messages in the later stages, and also the films that convey the message of social change. So, with the artistic message, the original movie seems to be the identity of Nepali movie.
