Minister Baskota warned: the film hall to locked if hall does not play Nepali movie at least 6 months

Minister for Communications and Information Technology Gokul Prasad Baskota has warned that locksmiths who do not play Nepali films will be locked for at least 180 days. Addressing the 19th anniversary of the Film Development Board, Minister Banskota issued this warning.

Saying that he has started debating new issues, Minister Banskota said that everyone should say that the protection of Nepali art, culture, tradition, nature, civilization, culture of Nepal and unique natural things should be protected but the film made in connection with it will not go to hall.He said that there was no legal provision in this regard and said that he would now make and manage the law. He said now that the owners of the hall should be ready, even if they do not go to the movies of their country, they will have to arrange for at least six months.

Minister Banskota, who criticized the Indian film Bharat on Wednesday for a good deal of business during the movie Jatrai Jatra, is doing good business, saying that all the bad things of the Nepali artist and the ideal of the foreign artist cannot protect the Nepali movie field.

Minister Baskota said that if Nepali film will not play at least 180 days,then he is going to make legal arrangements to lock the hall. For the remaining six months, the hall director was exempted from playing foreign films. He said that the locksmith protested against it and the government would open the locks.
